The villa has three bedrooms with 5 beds, plus two beds in the loft, without a door. A high chair and a crib are also available. The fully tiled bathroom on the ground floor has a shower and WC, and an additional WC is located upstairs. A wood-fired architect-designed sauna is located by the beach and can be booked upon request. Close to both child-friendly and shallow sandy beaches as well as rocks. Well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, induction stove, oven, microwave, as well as dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. Dining area for at least 10 people. The house has a large terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue.

You will stay on Väddö, one of Stockholm's 30,000 beautiful islands. You can explore beautiful spots in the nearby area, such as the Roslagsleden along the Väddö coast, farm shops, fresh fish in the harbor, and cultural events throughout the summer. If you just want to listen to the waves of the sea and smell the fresh sea air and seaweed, you don’t need to leave this little paradise.

A day trip to Stockholm is easy by car, in 1 ½ hours, you will be in the capital, the Venice of the North. You can park your car in Grisslehamn and take a direct bus to Stockholm. Buy the Stockholm card, and you will get discounted travel and entrance fees.

Grisslehamn offers a nice spa facility and ferry traffic to Åland, a lovely day trip on the sea. Don’t forget to buy some freshly caught fish in the harbor if you don’t have your own fishing luck. Free fishing with hand gear. You can also visit Albert Engström’s artist studio and get to know your former neighbor. For tennis enthusiasts, there are two courts and a padel court in Grisslehamn. Book via Matchi. For golf lovers, there are two golf courses within 14 kilometers (Väddö GK and Hallstavik GK) from Kvarnsand.

GOOD TO KNOW:

The sauna and boat are shared with the owner and must be booked and paid for on-site. Motorboat rental is 500 SEK per day (excluding fuel).
The owner covers electricity from May to September (otherwise 3 SEK/kWh).
No rental to groups.
Optional final cleaning for 2000 SEK.
Bed linen available for rent for 200 SEK/set.
