By car or bicycle you can easily go down to salt baths in a crystal clear water. Here you will find both rocks and child-friendly beaches. Sweden's only national park at sea, "Kosterhavets National Park", and its southern part located a few km from the cottage. In 10 min. you will find Tanum's very well-known rock carvings with a museum that is part of the World Heritage. If you want to experience peace and quiet, this is the perfect place for you. Here you will find seasonal berries and mushrooms near the house.

In the central town of Tanumshede you will also find a large shopping center.

The municipality has 530 kilometers of coastline with 350 islands.


Along the coast to the south you will find a number of genuine fishing communities, including Grebbestad, Smögen and Lysekil, with everything they have to offer not least in the summer. To the north you reach Strömstad within 15 minutes drive. From there you take a boat that goes according to the tour list to Kosteröarna which is Sweden's westernmost island group. Everywhere there is a rich entertainment life where you will also find a varied selection of restaurants that serve everything you could wish for such as freshly caught fish, shrimp, crayfish, crab, mussels and oysters.
