Idyllic setting in Särdal, Steninge

Behind the stone wall and through the gate there are three wooden houses from different epochs. This summer the biggest house is for rent. It’s a carefully designed house with a lot of charm and attention to details. In the neighbouring older house you will find your landlords at a convenient distance.

This is a setting as idyllic as one can wish, with shifting greenery and an outlook towards the sea. In the garden you can follow the sun and the wind and you will find nice places for outdoor sitting in different directions. The old Cottage with its Thatched roof, the big chestnut tree and the rosegarden between the houses provides a setting steeped in atmosphere. A fifteen minutes walk away you find the sea with several options for a swim or beachlife. Finish your day with a barbecue in the garden or, if the evening gets cold, light a fire in the open fireplace.

The kitchen, eating area and living room area in an open plan solution. There is plenty of space around the kitchen table. In the living room area there is an open fireplace, a big sofa and armchairs. Lovely views towards the surrounding greenery and the sea.

There are 3-5 beds. Bedroom 1: a big room with a double bed och plenty of room to fit an extra bed, in this room there is tiled stove. Bedroom 2: one stair down in a charming atelier you find one single bed and a sofa, there is also room for one extra bed. This room has direct access to the west facing terrace.

Nice baths whithin walking and biking distance. At Steninge strandbad you find Gösta’s café and at Steninge vandrarhem you can try yoga or have plättar in their café. In the old wing mill in Särdal there is a shop selling local products and a café in garden setting. There are quite a few farm shops selling local produce, e.g. Mostorp’s farm and Solhaga bakery. In the neighbourhood you will find nice foot paths and several nice nature reserves. Closest supermarket is located in Haverdal approx. 10 minutes by car.

Bring your own bedlinen and towels.
Clean the house before leaving. Cleaning equipment provided.
