Below the cottage, Lake Äcklingen is situated and it is lovely for skiing and barbecues, and during summer go for a ride with the Fjällhotellet´s boats and/or canoes. In Kolåsen you will experience a part of Sweden´s most beautiful nature, far from the city and noise. The Fjällhotellet offers both a small slalom slope and the Fjällexpressen up to the bare fjeld (kalfjället). If you wish to go for a drive, Anjan mountain lodge, and Huså or Åre lovely excursion goals. A small service shop is available at Kallsedet, circa 10km from the cottage.
