The accommodation:

Small groups have an apartment on the first floor. Larger groups also 2nd floor.

The apartment of 110 - 200 + 30 m2 consists of large and very well equipped kitchen. 3-6 bedrooms with 4 - 11 (+ possibility of 1 extra) bed, of which 2-3 double beds "king zise", duvets and pillows. Sheets and towels ARE INCLUDED for at least one week's rent. 1-2 Living room with TV and cromecast (you can see all the TV, apps etc that you have on your mobile etc), bookshelf and games, puzzles, etc. Large bathroom with walk-in shower, bidet, 2 sinks and smaller bathrooms on the 2nd floor. Spacious hall (as well as separate entrance and hall to the 2nd floor). Clothing care room with washing machine, drying facilities, etc.

Outdoor room with stunning lake-view, dining table and sofa corner. Private parking. Unlimited Wi-Fi in the whole house. Set for outdoor games: croquet, kubb etc
Private parking. Charging for electric cars. Unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the house. Set for outdoor games: croquet, bowler etc. Try out slackline or swings for younger kids, 75 m away from the house.

The hosts lives 100 m away (often at home) and assists with tips, opportunities and all the information you request. See further under the heading “opportunities”.

The village:
The house is located in a small village with three permanent residents, one of whom is active farming with animals. Grazing animals sometimes occur in the meadows around the house. A village road passes about 75 m from the house and ends at a larger lake 900 m beyond the village. This area has been inhabited several centuries back. Located on a hill with miles of views, surrounded by meadows, small fields and many large care trees and exciting flora/fauna. The village is surrounded by forest in all directions.

The surroundings:
We border a nature reserve with large untouched forests. There are several marked hiking trails with viewpoints and natural swimming spots. That nature reserve in turn borders a very large geological nature reserve called Skurugata. North of our house, there is an 10 km2 unsettled area, containing only forest and small gravel roads. Great opportunities for hiking, mushroom- and berry picking.

Further away:
Movänta camping ground with café, restaurant and swimming opportunities 3 km. Hult with grocery store and bus connection 5 km. Skurugata and Skuruhatt 10 km with car or 3 km walking. Culture city Eksjö with the old wooden town 17 km. Vimmerby with Astrid Lindgren´s world (Pippi Longstocking) 54 km.



Possibilities:
* We have a large garden with organic cultivations of vegetables and berries. You can buy a large variety (depending on the season) of fresh food and (if interested) participate in gardening, get tips and knowledge about organic cultivations.
* Swimming from jetty with ladder 60 m (swimmers). Private bathing place in very clean clear water-lake 1.1 km (swimmers). Bathing place with shallow sandy beach (child-friendly) in the same lake – 1.3 km.
* Boat and fishing in our little lake is free. Boat with motor can be rented in larger lake where fishing license is required. At extra cost, we can arrange crayfish fishing in August and net fishing for vendace in November. We have life jackets, different sizes, for lending.
* Rich opportunities for hiking, ranging from ½ hour to full day or several days! In the immediate area there are several short, marked hiking trails with fantastic viewpoints and opportunity for cooling swims. Skurugata and Skuruhatt can be reached with about an hour of hiking (one way). The area is Jönköping County´s largest destination and well worth one or more visits.
* We can offer massage. Thai medical massage, can be helpful for physical ailments or just relaxing.

Other:
No smoking or pets indoors. No parties with invited guests or overnight stays except agreed tenants.
