Welcome to a Falu red Dala cottage with a large plot, where you can enjoy the lake view, have a barbeque and go for an evening swim in Lake Kättbosjön, or a rowing trip with the boat. Deer, hare and fox sometimes pass through the plot, and from the lake the ”kok-kloi” of the loon can be heard. The plot has space for games, tents, and cars. The cottage has three bedrooms with 4, 2, 1 (or 2 if you are in love -140cm. wide) berths. An additional berth is available in a passage room together with a sofa bed. As it was made for cottage cozyness by the fireplace, and for Christmas, winter break, easter, mid-summer, and crayfish parties.

In the village there is a playground, a barbeque area and a boules court. Mid-summer celebrations 200 mts from the cottage. In the forest there are many paths for jogging and/or walking. Take the opportunity to walk the marked health trail. Plenty of blueberries, lingonberries and cloudberries. In Johannisholm a few kilometres away, there are canoes for rent. At Kapellbacken is a memorial stone after Lars & Engelbrekt – the first Vasalopp skiers, which followed Gustav Vasa the new year in 1520/1521.

Sights nearby: Wonderland Sagolandet Tomteland in Gesunda, Zorn museum and the Zorn estate together with the Vasalopp museum in Mora. Leksand Summerland. Dala horses in Nusnäs. Siljansfors forest museum. Dalhalla. Vattnäs concert barn.

During winter you can go skiing on the lake or drive to the Vasalopp tracks a few miles away. Or why not go tread sledging on the village roads. In the village there is a sauna. If you enjoy cross-country skates, Lake Orsasjön is just 50km away with a lovely 30km track on the ice or the track on Lake Siljan in Mora. If you want to go down hills, there are the slopes Gesundabacken, Gopshus and Orsa Grönklitt nearby, and the Sälen mountains are just about an hour away.
