Ramsö is a beautiful car-free island in Stockholm's central archipelago. Good communications with archipelago boat (Vaxholmsbåt) from central Stockholm (approx. 1 hour, 20 minutes) or

by bus to Vaxholm (40 min) + archipelago boat (Vaxholmsbåt) (approx. 15 min) Frequent trips during the summer. A quiet archipelago location with commuting options for work in the region.

ABOUT THE HOUSE
The house is a charming cottage from the beginning of the 20th century, located 10 minutes from the Ramsö steamer pier. It consists of hall, two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, shower room and two terraces.

There are two single beds in one bedroom and a bunk bed in the other. In the kitchen there is a dining area, hot/cold water, bench stove with oven, fridge, freezer, pantry, coffee maker and kettle.

In the living room there is a sofa group and TV. In the shower room: shower, sink and separate toilet (compost toilet). On the terraces
there are garden furniture of various kinds, a parasol and a barbecue.

To the jetty which is shared with the neighbour, there are two wooden sofas.

The plot is on a southern slope and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. We compost food waste (kombusha) and sort rubbish to reduce the amount of rubbish. At the Ramsö steamboat pier there are recycling bins for glass and paper, among other things.

ACTIVITIES ON THE ISLAND

On Ramsö there are several public areas for activities, bowling alleys, two football pitches and a ping pong table. There are several bathing spots on the island, both rocks, beach and jetty. Good walking and jogging July there is a boule tour, very popular.

THE RAMSÖ BAKER

It is possible to buy freshly baked bread and buns from the island's own baker.



BE AFRAID OF THE WATER!

Fresh water is scarce on the island, so don't use more water than you need (ie don't let the water run or shower unnecessarily long).

WAXHOLM

In Vaxholm there is a grocery store, pharmacy, system company, hardware & paint store, interior design stores, bookshop, hotel, restaurants, bars, pizzeria, cafes and Italian ice cream parlor, etc. There are also two boat docks if you have a boat. In the northern harbor is Vaxholm's homestead café with a cozy garden by the water. Vaxholm is also a major hub for most of the regular boat connections to the northern and central part of Stockholm's archipelago.

It is easy to get to Ramsö. You can get there either by archipelago boat, taxi boat, own boat, bus or car.

• Waxholm boat from Strömkajen or Slussen in Stockholm (approx. 1 hour, 20 minute journey)

• Waxholm boat from Norra Lagnö, Värmdö (15 min), bus from Slussen. Some tours go direct, some tours change boats in Vaxholm

• Bus 670 from the Technical University to Vaxholm then Waxholmsbåt to Ramsö (5–10 min)
