Dalarö is by far the best summer resort in the Stockholm archipelago - the Long Island of Sweden!

Few houses are for rent in Dalarö, but only one by the ocean with morning sun and evening sun and walking distance to alla shops. This is the only one!

Welcome to this fully furnished house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very private and quiet surroundings, walking distance to to all shops in Dalaro.

We are looking for 2 - 3 careful non smoking persons.

This culturally protected yellow house is from 1887. It has a living room with fireplace overlooking the ocean, dining on the veranda or outside in the sun. Two bedrooms with space for three persons, two bathrooms one with bathtub and one with shower and a washing machine. Charming kitchen with Electrolux stove, dishwasher and fridge.

Our building is located on the most southern tip of Dalaro with walking distance to sand beaches and top quality shops with food, bakery, fish, vegetable, fruit, French cheese and restaurants. The bakery has a tasty soup of the day.

A few steps further and you come to a marina with a popular restaurant right on the water (solsidandalaro.se).
Foreign sailboats arrive daily to this harbor in summertime. A small bridge lead you to large sandy beaches with hiking and swimming for children and adults.

Dalaro is connected by a bridge for cars to the mainland. On Dalarö you may also find football fields (500 m), canoe rentals (500 m), playground for kids (500 m), tennis courts (500 m), hiking (500 m), golf (5 km) and riding (10 km).

Dalarö is a true historic town with a huge fortification from the 1600-hundred on a nearby island and a wodden church in Dalaro from
1652, customs house from 1788 and boat connections to the far out islands Ornö and Utö. I recommend you to visit Utö with swimming in Rävstavik.

At the end of 1800 the most well known Swedish writers (August Strindberg) and painters (Anders Zorn) spent their summers in Dalarö.
It became the Long Island of Stockholm.

Direction: Road all the way to the front door.
45 km drive southeast of Stockholm. Highway 73 direction Nynäshamn, turn right at sign DALARO.
Only 45 minutes by car from the centre of Stockholm. Daily bus and train connections from Stockholm to Dalarö every hour by buss 839
via Handen. Short walk from the bus stop at Dalarö harbor (Hotellbryggan) to our building.
