THE COTTAGE

The cottage at Resarö is of 36m², with an open ridge, which makes the cottage airy, has 2 rooms with 4 berths. Spare beds for 1 baby bed and a highchair available to lend. In the lounge, as we call it, there is a sofa bed 160 cm. wide. Coffee table with 2 armchairs, a round dining table, retractable and with room for 6 persons.
TV, CD, DVD, RADIO. WI FI. 1 wardrobe.

The other room has a trinette kitchen with a cooker with two hotplates, fridge with an ice box, a washing-up sink, micro, coffee percolator, electric kettle, toaster, and appropriate kitchen equipment.
Wardrobe with drawers and a double bed of 160 cm. wide. Roller shutter door between the rooms.

WC together with a shower and a wash basin. Hair dryer and iron available. Hot and cold water.

PATIO with BARBEQUE
Large wooden deck for cosy meals and outdoor living, with dining table and chairs. Adjustable large parasol.

The car park has room for several cars, convenient for loading and unloading from the car.

By the cottage there are large lawns for different ball games, and our pride of as many as 17 peony stands to enjoy, which usually blooms around midsummer. Large garden.

Morning or evening swim, just 150 mts from the cottage down to the private jetty.
If you are arriving by boat, we can sort out a mooring for a smaller boat.

Walking distance to child friendly swimming beach with a playground, dressing room, toilets within 400 mts. Several swimming spots on the island.

. Bicycle roads to Vaxholm.

ICA supermarket is just 2km away with a pizza place.

5 minutes walking distance to the bus stop, which will take you to Vaxholm or Stockholm. Frequent bus connections.

VAXHOLM
Only 55 minutes boat trip from Stockholm and yet a different world. VAXHOLM offers cosy restaurants, cafés and shops, ice cream bars. Art exhibitions. Swimming spots. Cinema. Supermarket. Liquor store. Medical care centre.

By BUS directly to the cottage you go on bus 680 from Humlegården, Stockholm then it´s just 150 mts walk to the cottage. You can also go by bus 670 from Tekniska Högskolan and change bus to 682 by ENGARN which also will take you 150 mts from the cottage.

ARLANDA airport
By car it´s 45 - 50 minutes to drive from the cottage. Skavsta airport is about an hour and 45 minutes.

SIGHTS AND ATTRACTIONS
Such as VAXHOLMS CASTELL, BOGESUNDS Castle and Cafe, and nearby a swimming spot, also suitable for children. BOGESUNDS nature reserve
Midsummer celebrations on our Pavilion and there is also a lunch restaurant with a liquor license, within walking distance.
