Welcome to a unique accommodation in a 200 years old house refurbished to modern standards. The cottage is on 50 m2 plus sleeping loft and sauna and situated in open terrain in Hassela kyrkby in the northern part of wilderness in Hälsingland,
350 km north of Stockholm. The cottage is recently restored and completed by
2013. The House has 8 beds, kitchen, living room with TV, bathroom with shower
and toilet. A staircase leads up to the bed loft where six of the beds are
available. The House is properly insulated for chilly winter nights and two sturdy
wood stoves heat well. In the neighborhood there are a lot of activities to be found.
Hassela Ski resort, about 2 km away, with 16 slopes and 8 lifts, cross-country
trails, restaurants and a bathhouse. Snowmobile trails in the vicinity of the House
with the opportunity to reach the entire Northern Hälsingland´s snowmobile trails.
Prepared cross-country tracks 2,5 km starting outside the cottage, in addition there
is a 2.5 km illuminated track in Hassela village. Icelandic horses can be rented in
one of the neighbouring farms. In the immediate vicinity there are also 2 golf
courses, beach at the Lake, swimming pool at Hasselabadet, silver smithy, ax
smithy and cultural events, fishing, canoe routes, hiking and beautiful miles of dirt
roads ideal for MTB cycling. Forests on their doorstep filled with berries and
mushrooms. To the sea and sandy beaches are approximately 50 km.
