Allow me to introduce myself (from whom are you renting the house?)
My name is Arend-Jan van Essen and I have my own consultancy focussed on assessing and developing talent. I also run a trading business for the import and export of Swedish products. Besides riding my motor bike, scuba diving, pottery-making and helping others develop their talents, I also have a passion for Sweden. I love visiting Sweden, both for holidays and also to give career workshops and team training sessions. A mix of business, intuition and the opportunity to make use of the open space, the tranquillity and the power of Nature to help others find a new perspective on their careers. My dream is to start up a centre for personal development in Sweden within the next 3 years.
Any questions about our services are heartily welcome!
Directions:
How to get there?
In the winter you can fly to Oslo and then hire a car (about 3 hours drive). You can also drive all the way and take, for instance, the night ferry from Kiel to Göteborg, driving through Denmark and then over the bridge to Sweden. We will be happy to help you find the best route.
By plane
Cheap tickets are currently available from KLM., Norwegian, SAS and Air Berlin and you can either hire a car on arrival at the airport or book one beforehand. From Oslo Airport (address: Edvard Munchs veg, 2061 Gardermoen, Norway) to Långbergets Sporthotell AB (address: Hotellvägen 1, 680 60 Sysslebäck, Sweden) take route 16 to Kongvinger, then route 2 to Flisa and then route 62 to Sysslebäck.
By ferry/bridge
There are several possible routes. Car drivers generally take the Puttgarden-Rødby route, crossing the bridge over the Öresund from Denmark to Sweden, then taking the E6 to Göteborg and the E45 to Sysslebäck. Another popular route, already mentioned, is the night ferry from Kiel to Göteborg and then further as described above.
