Cosy and comfortable cottage at Lake Grövelsjön

Enjoyable and light cottage with high standards on the interior design, beds, and a well equipped kitchen area.

Parlour games, books, and movies available to lend. A few toys for smaller children are also available.


Two separate bedrooms with bunk beds (4+2 berths). All beds are made by HÄSTENS with duvets and pillows for a good night’s sleep!

Two entrances to the cottage with two social spaces with suites, of which one sofa is a sofa bed for one extra berth.

In the large living room, there is a dining area for 4 - 6 persons and the kitchen area. Furnished patio for spring and autumn stays. Kettle grill available in the cottage to lend.

The cottage's natural plot of about 900m² adjacent to nature and forest on two sides and is located in Björnliden mountain village with nice neighbours.

Down at the plot boundary, the mile track for cross-country skiing/hiking goes but without a direct visibility to the cottage.
Summer and autumn offer lovely hiking and in September colourful expanses.

During winter there are about 100km of prepared ski tracks for cross-country skiing together with marked winter tracks up over the mountain ranges.

A smaller lift facility is available in the nearby area (Lövåsen 2km) for slalom skiing, snowboarding, and sledding. Children friendly descents. Lövåsgården has a nice restaurant and a well-known wine cellar.
In Grövelfjäll (6km) there are more and longer slopes with Ski shop, skiing school, and restaurant.
Within 30 minutes you will reach Idre with more than 60 slopes for slalom and nice cross-country skiing tracks.
During summer the Idre facility offers mountain bike tracks, nice roller skit racks, horseback riding, white water rafting etc.

You can rent a snowmobile nearby and go out to the circa 1300km long and connected system of prepared snowmobile tracks in forest and open mountain terrain. Connections to the snowmobile tracks are near the cottage.

In consideration to allergies, pets are not allowed.

N.B: separate electric car charger is not available. It is forbidden to charge cars directly from the cottage, since this may cause fire damages inside the cottage.

Road description:
Drive from Idre towards Grövelsjön, after about 28km turn right towards Lövåsgården/Björnliden. Drive for about 1,2km turn left in towards Björnlidens fritidsområde. Turn first road left and after about 500 mts, the cottage is on your left hand side.
