Blidö– the island in the sun...

We let out furnished and winterized holiday home of 75m² together with a garden shed of 15m² with a very nice location by the Sea at Fällgate Nordöstra Blidö. The buildings are of high standard with spacious patios and with sea view in a very quiet area near the forest and the Sea.

Newly renovated bathroom with shower, hot water and a combustion toilet. By the garden sheds there is also an outhouse if you prefer.

A stone’s through from the ground plot, (circa300 metres) there’s a shallow bathing bay with some nice cliffs. It is also possible to lend the area’s wooden hated sauna right next to the jetty, together with a guest berth for large boats. Possibilities to rent small motor boat.

The main house has three bedrooms with two berths in each, also possible for a spare bed in the living room. The garden shed has a bunk bed and a sofa bed for two persons and a patio with Sea view. The ground plot is of 2,200m² and at the front of the house slightly sloped and children friendly.

The living room has a homely fireplace heating stove and there’s a large supply of TV channels. There are two spacious patios at the main building, one towards the gravel road and one with a Sea view, perfect for barbeques, or eating breakfast with a view over Nermans holme (islet).

At Blidö there are lovely forest trails and gravel roads for excursions on bicycle or by foot. Naturally it is also possible to discover the island by car. The well assorted ICA supermarket is also an off license shop, post office, pharmacy etc. If there will be a cold and snow rich winter, you can go skiing and/or ice skating on the Sea ice. The fishing is naturally good around Blidö, both from the jetty, cliffs and from boat.

We can help you with the cleaning before checking out for a fee of SEK 1,200 and bed linen is available for SEK 100/bed. Swap days are Saturdays or after agreement. We are flexible and also rent over the holidays, weekends or long term.

From Stockholm circa 1 hour by car, two car ferries from Furusund about 20 minutes. Buses from Norrtälje and Stockholm, also archipelago boats from Stockholm city centre. Please see maps on the Internet for best road description.
