Are you longing for peace and quiet? To rest your eyes in green and listen to birdsong? Then Killahuset's 19th-century cottage house with three rooms, kitchen and bathroom might be something for you. The house has been carefully renovated, much of the old remains, such as mirror doors, low in the ceiling, and part of the walls are made of clay.
Here you wake up in one of Sweden's most beautiful rose gardens, especially romantic is the "rose jungle" where roses from all over the world climb the trees. The garden, which is about the size of two football fields, is open to the public. You have your own, private garden, with exit directly from the house. There are many seating places in the park that you have access to as a tenant. The park is a free zone for hundreds of different small birds and we are therefore unfortunately unable to accept dogs. The garden pond makes the accommodation less suitable for small children. Killahuset's garden lies freely in the open landscape, embedded in lush greenery. The dirt road outside the park takes you directly down to Mälarhusen's white beach, one of Sweden's best. The beach is 1.5 km from the residence. The nearest towns are Skillinge and Borrby, where there are shops. The home has a stove/electric heating and TV. Sheets and towels are available for rent.
