Bathing places & Environment

This is a house for you who want horses as your next-door neighbour, maybe you have horse-crazy children and at the same time want to enjoy a holiday in beautiful Tjörn? In the surroundings there are several bathing areas, the two closest are Toröds-& Röra Rumps bathing area, where there is a sandy beach, jetty and toilet. From the house, you can easily get to the incredibly beautiful and seaside cycle path between Pilane & Skärhamn.

The villa
Welcome to this horse-inspired villa, parking is right next to the house.Two small steps up and you get to the balcony at the front, from here you can see over the entire riding facility, the stables, the horse paddocks, the cross-country course and the paddock. There is lounge furniture and tables with chairs under a roof. In the hall, go to the left to reach a spacious kitchen with room for many. Inside the kitchen is a bedroom with a bunk bed. To the left next to the hall is the toilet with shower and if you go straight ahead there is a bedroom with a double bed (two single beds together). To the right is a cozy living room with a fireplace and dining area for 10. Here you can also challenge the children to an air hockey match.Upstairs there is another toilet with sink, a bedroom with a double bed (two single beds together) and a walk-through room with a total of 4 bunk beds, this can accommodate the whole group of friends.

At the back of the house is the trampoline and a lawn with space for outdoor games.

The immediate area
Two old fine fishing villages, 6 km away is Kyrkesund, where you can take a ferry over to the car-free island of Härön, which has a fantastic hiking trail across the island's nature reserve. On Härön there is also the restaurant Magasinet where you can sit on the pier and enjoy fresh fish.6 km from the house there is another restaurant, Björholmen's Marina where you can eat fantastically good food right next to the sea and you can also rent pedal boats, kayaks and bicycles. There is also the possibility to book a nice and cozy wood-burning sauna, which is beautifully situated on the jetty.

Pilane Sculpture just 2.5 km from the house in the middle of a Bohuslän cultural landscape with grazing, a sculpture exhibition with world-class art can be arranged every summer. This is an exciting and different art experience for both young and old.

In Kållekärr 5.5 km away you will find a pizzeria, Ica shop, hairdresser, kiosk and Korggubben (furnishings & gifts etc.m)

Things to do on Tjörn, here there are many genuine archipelago communities. In Skärhamn there are several archipelago restaurants as well as small shops with handicrafts. Here you will also find Klädesholmen's Fish & Seafood with daily catch.

More car-free islands - from Rönnäng the ferry goes to the car-free islands Tjörnekalv, Åstol and Dyrön. Exploring these picturesque little island worlds is something you absolutely cannot miss.

The Nordic Watercolor Museum in Skärhamn has experiences for both young and old.A creative cultural center with watercolor art from all over the world at the same time that Pilane offers world-class art in the middle of a Bohuslän cultural landscape among graveyards and grazing sheep. Säby Kile's nature reserve is a wonderful trip, many bird species thrive here that benefit from the rich aquatic life. At Sundsby Säteri you can enjoy something good in the cafe and restaurant. Take a trip to Orust, the Pilgrimsleden on Orust is eight miles long and connects eight churches and is just one of many beautiful hiking trails on the island.Tabletop honey farm where you and your children, in a very educational way, can see how the bees live and make honey. You can also buy good coffee and honey caramels here. Right next door is & Tavlebords country store, a market hall where local producers sell their food and handicrafts. A day trip to car-free Gullholmen or Käringön is a must, the ferries depart from Tuvesvik.
