Farmhouse with its own beach, boat and jetty.

Old and genuine farmhouse in Dalarna with 2 timber houses for letting with a large lawn to stretch out on. The farm is located along its own gravel road that leads down to lake Toftan where you like to swim. All neighbours are at a reasonable distance. Here you can enjoy a secluded and peaceful holiday!

The main building, house no.1, is the primary house for renting, but the ground floor of house 2 can also be rented. Suitable if two families who know each other well want to rent at the same time. (Toilet and shower are in house 1 and shared by both households, but if you are ok with an airy privy/outhouse, you won’t have to queue as often).

House no.1 has two rooms and a large newly renovated kitchen and includes a working wood stove (firewood is included in the rent). The toilet/shower is also newly renovated. Unfortunately the tiled stoves in the living room are not to be used. The bedroom has a double bed (160 cm) and 2 single beds. In the living room there is a single bed and a sofa bed (140 cm bed that folds forward). There is a TV set with the basic range of Swedish channels.

House no. 2 has 1 room with 3 beds (double bed 160cm + 90cm) and a simpler kitchen but with hot/cold water, wood stove (which can be fired), electric hob with an oven and a fridge/freezer. In the eastern gable of house no. 2 there is a summer shower and a washing machine (in winter you cannot use the washing machine)

It is 200 m down to the lake for your morning swim and at our jetty the rowing boat is moored.
At another spot along the lakeside, there is a small pine headland with barbecue area and logs in a square to sit on.

The farm is close to Sundborn, Svärdsjö and Falun for excursions and alternative activities other than the nature and swimming offered around the farm.
In Sundborn you will find the nearest grocery store, pizzeria and petrol station.
