Lakeside cottage located in nature reserve

WELCOME TO A FRESH DWELLING IN HARMONY WITH NATURE.

Cottage animal-free and non-smoking with lake view from the breakfast table and the forest right outside.
An idyllic place to wake up and enjoy on a lakeside plot in Malingarna with the inland lakes Stora Malingen and Lilla Malingen, a nature reserve located along national highway 66 between Nyhammar and Björbo about 30km north of Ludvika.

The reserve is well visited by travellers along road 247. The area is attractive for swimming and outdoor life. Here there are headlands, islands, and beach cliffs. A character bird for the lakes is the black-throated diver. On the beaches there are spring pasque flowers, Moore-king lousewort, and alpine campion.

The cottage has three bedrooms with two double beds, one bunk bed 140 + 90 (private bedroom) and one bunk bed 90 + 90 (shared with a double bed).The cottage has a larger patio together with double patio doors, all in glass in the bedroom with a view towards the lake.
Air conditioner, shower, WC, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer.

During autumn 2022 and spring 2023 we will extend the cottage and redo the kitchen.
The bedroom which used to be an access for the other bedrooms will be converted into a kitchen.

Outside there is a patio with a roof together with garden furniture underneath the pavilion with mosquito net.
With the mosquito catcher Mosquito Magnet Pioneer in the garden you can enjoy lovely evenings without mosquitoes and gnats.
Barbeque area with wind protection and a fire boiler together with table, benches and a charcoal grill down by the lake.
The cottage is situated next to our house, with a private plot and a thuja hedge as cover.

Jetty and two canoes shared with us. Rowing boat on the left side at the jetty and with an electric motor included in the rent.

Char, trout, perch, and northern pike available in the lake.
N.B.! Fishing permit for Malingarna included in the rent.

Towels and bed linen are not included in the rent.

Final cleaning before departure of cottage, barbeque area and garden is done by the lodger.

The landlord does not permit animals, parties and/or smoking.
