Beautiful and isolated, this cultural and historical treasure dating back to the 1600´s lies on the border between the woods of Hökensås and the table mountains of Falbygden. The farm, which was originally to be found near the church of Suntak, was moved to its present location as a consequence of changes in the law occurring 1847. The farm´s cultural and historical value lies in its unusually uniform post 19th century farm environment and the well-preserved farmhouse interior, including wallpaper from the 18th and 19th centuries (E. Holmström & E. Orebäck Krantz, 1989, "Kulturhistoriskt värdefulla byggnader och miljöer i Tidaholms kommun"). Tenants have the whole farm to themselves!

Tidaholm and Falköping are about 10 and 20 kilometers away, respectively. The farm consists of five buildings, of which the farmhouse (180 sqm including the attic) and the brew-house (30 sqm including the hall) are furnished for winter use. Thus, the farm is well-suited for year-round use. The plot, which consists mostly of lawns, is around 4.500sqm in size. The farmhouse includes a large farmhouse kitchen, a sitting room with a fireplace/wood-burning stove and four bedrooms with six beds. In the brew-house there are two + one more beds, a fireplace/wood-burning stove and cooking facilities. The running hot and cold water in the farmhouse comes from the farm´s own deep well. Newly renovated large kitchen with induction hobs, woodstove, built-in oven with grill etc., two fridge freezers and a dishwasher. The farm is well equipped in terms of kitchenware.

Heating via an air source heat pump, wood-burning stoves, masonry stoves and electric radiators. Newly renovated bathroom with shower cabin, WC and washing machine. Furthermore, there is an outdoor lavatory. Big screen TV, WIFI and Blueray- and CD-player in the farmhouse. Garden furniture, barbecue and excellent local walks. Robot cut lawn. NB: No smoking indoors! Contact person nearby. Electricity consumed or firewood used will be charged afterwards.

In the area:
Outdoor bath in Otterstorpasjön about 5 km away. Furthermore in Hökensås nature reserve there are swimming lakes, opportunities for angling, exercise trails, walking routes etc. Riding possibilities in Tidaholm. Canoe rental in Kyrkekvarn and sail flying on Olleberg.

Directions:
Coming from Jönköping, Skövde or Tidaholm take the county road 193 towards Falköping. About 800m after the turning for Marieberg/Hårdaholm turn right and continue on a private road for about 400m.
