Modern holiday living in cottage from 19th century

Holiday living in charmful cottage from early 19th century in a pittoresque and tranquil village outside of Leksand in the heart of Sweden, the province of Dalarna, for rent nights or a week at a time.
The inside of the cottage has been modernized to modern livingstandards and consists of a room with two new beds, an open fireplace and seating, kitchen equipped for modern cooking that also contains a smaller bed (50x165 cm). There is a small entrance hall with a built in wardrobe and bathroom with wc, basin, shower and cupboards for storage.
Many older details preserved in doors, ceilings, floors, furniture and china gives the cottage atmosphere and a homely feel.
The timbercottage is a part of an older courtyard style farm, named Liljas, typical for the area with older traditional timber buildings and is shared with the owner.
At the back of the cottage is a secluded patio with garden furniture overlooking gardens, an orchard and fields.
Close to the cottage you can find nice pathways, a swimming pond and forests.
With car or bike you can reach Leksand golf course, the traditional old touristvillages of Plintsberg and Tällberg with touris attractions, historical hotels and restaurants close to the great lake Siljan. Also by car not far from central Leksand and Rättvik with shops, cafés and service. 30 minutes drive to Dalhalla concert arena.

Renters clean at departure, but the service can be included for a fee of 200 kr.

Bed-linnen and towels can be rented by booking in advance for an additional fee.

Directions:
Take off from route 70 between Leksand and Rättvik at sign saying Torrberg. When you reach Torrberg after a couple of kilometers take right at the first crossroad and drive a hundred meters up, first Dammvägen and then Kålgårdsgattu to number 4, Liljas.
