Unique dwelling by the sea, northern Öland

Welcome to let our newly decorated croft, built in rustic style with a beautiful Sedum roof. The lakeside croft (Sjötorpet) is located just a stone´s throw away from the sea. The croft has an all-purpose room with a well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom with two box spring single beds (80 cm.) together with a bathroom with shower and WC. We are only able to welcome two persons, without children and/or pets at the time. In connection to the croft there is a patio with garden furniture and a barbeque, to enjoy beautiful sunsets in a private environment.
Sjötorpet is in Sjölunden 2km south of Sandvik in northern Öland. Here we offer rich possibilities to wonderful nature experiences. Sjölunden is situated in the middle of Knisa Mosse nature reserve. Around the bog there is a nature trail and a bird watching tower with a lovely view over the reserve. Along the coast you can go for a bike ride on the beautiful bicycle trail. If you don´t feel like being in a crowd on Öland’s large sandy beaches, there are nice cliffs here in Sjölunden for sunbathing in privacy
Sandvik is a cosy fishing village with a marina, sandy beach, fish shop/restaurant, souvenir shops together with a well assorted ICA supermarket. Here is also Northern Europe’s largest windmill with a restaurant, pizza place together with miniature golf course.
