Spacious, cosy log cottage!

The Martinsstuga is a cosy but large log cottage, non electrified. This means, you live like in the old days, with candlelights, wood fires, dry closet outside, a well for your water and so on. This cottage has two stories: downstairs is the kitchen and living area with gascooker, wooden stove and another fireplace, table and two extra sleeping places, upstairs are two bedrooms with 8 beds plus a baby bed. The cottage is well equipped, but please bring own sheets and towels! If not possible, you can rent them from us. Cleaning is not included.
About 1 km away is the lake Bolmen and the small village Odensjö. Here you can borrow a rowing boat and bikes, use the fridge and freezer, charge your mobiles, use our wi-fi and take a shower without any extra cost!
In the village is also our Bed & Breakfast and touristinformation, a church, an open air museum with waffles on summer sundays and a cafe/restaurant. There is a big, nice swimming area with a jetty and a playing ground at the open air museum.

The area is very beautiful - you can swim, row, go fishing, sailing, walking, biking or pick mushrooms and berries in the forrest. A lot of motorcyclists go on tour around the lake Bolmen as well.
There are many day trips you can make to the rest of the south of Sweden: The West coast, the glassblowing area in the east, cheap shopping in Ullared, a Wild West town, High Chaparall, or why not visit Gothenburg and Scandinavias biggest funfair Liseberg, IKEA or Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby?

One single night is 800 SEK, 2 nights 1400 SEK. Longer stay than 3 nights 600 SEK per night. A whole week costs 3500 SEK. Firewood for the stoves is included in the price.
Please note: during high season (week 26-34) the cottage is bookable whole weeks only.

Pets are welcome, as long as they stay on the floor and in own sleeping baskets!
