An archipelago idyll in the middle of the village Gräddö. A mixture of Saltkråkan and Bullerbyn which is at the top of the sun league together with Visby. With winding gravel roads and access to jetties, sandy beaches and salty baths. And at the same time near all comforts, you need to have a successful holiday stay.
The house is from the turn of the last century, when the people of Stockholm began to move out to their own summer dwellings in the archipelago. It was then the nicest house the building contractor Jan-Erik Sundqvist ever had built. Two floors of about 160m², 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. With many of the original interior features well preserved. Such as double panelled doors, and an open fireplace in the lounge.
Suitable for two vacationing families. One family on each floor with a private bathroom and breakfast patio. Newly renovated country kitchen, large dining room together with all modern comfortableness. Wi-Fi new cooker, washing machine and tumble dryer. Balcony in the southern position and patios with evening sunshine to the west, surrounded by old fruit trees and timelessly beautiful lilacs.
Gräddö is a small and charming village at Rådmansö´s northern point, near Norrtälje. About an hour by car from Stockholm. Five minutes’ walk to the shops, marina with a jetty café, and kayak rental. Right next to it there are several swimming spots to choose from. From Gräddö you can easily access any of the many archipelago restaurants at Lidö or Fejan. With the ferry Waxholmsbåt you can reach Arholma. Also, Söderarm outer archipelago is within reach.
