"Grindstugan" - the Gate house - lies at the end of a beautiful parkway, just before the historical village of Brevens Bruk. The stone house, built in 1863 is part of the Brevens Bruk cultural heritage site.

The house is surrounded by forests and has a big garden with fruit trees and a farm land. On the back, there's a beautiful outdoor stone patio, perfect for bbq, dinner and relaxation.

In the garden, we have a wood-fired hot tub which out guests can use, but you do have to bring your own firewood for it.

Only a few minutes away are the two lakes Båven and Sottern.

Otroligt vackert gammalt hus med en stor härlig välskött tomt. Fräscht och välutrustat kök, sköna sängar och rofyllt läge. Lite långt till närmaste bad kanske, men för oss räckte det gott med att bara hänga på den härliga uteplatsen. Ett ställe att ”bara vara” på.

Helt underbart hus och perfekt med inhägnad tomt när man har hund. Fin natur, bra löp och promenadvägar precis vid tomtgränsen och massa fina hjortar ser man hela tiden. Veckan vi var där, föll temperaturen från 28+ till 17+ på dagarna, så det blev mycket eldning i rörspisarna, så mysigt. Vi återkommer gärna på vår nästa semester.
