Red house at Meetingplace Henneviken

An ideal setting in paradise at the end of the road. Private sauna and bathing pier at the tip of the peninsula in Dalsland's canal. You don't pass by here; you come to stay and relax. There's no store, no restaurant, just nature. Buy groceries for a few days!
During the summer season, we only rent out full weeks, from Sunday to Sunday. The red house has 10-12 beds in 5 rooms, the biggest room is on the ground floor with 2 + 2 + 1 +1 beds in a room with a fantastic lake view. A perfect house for a large family or two families.
The dining room has the best view. Many can cook together in the large and newly renovated kitchen with a dishwasher and everything you might need. Outdoor seating with a table and benches for 12 people. There's a grill but bring your own charcoal. Shower with hot water in the sauna down by the lake. There is a toilet upstairs and downstairs in the house. Upstairs, there are two double rooms and a small single room.
The house is old, and we try to preserve much of its original charm. That means peeling paint and the occasional missing detail. We are building an extension and renovating the house from 2021-24; some work remains, but the functions are there. It's mainly painting and finishing touches that are missing. Everything should be ready for the house's 100th anniversary in 2025.
