Cottage information

By Svartsö northern beak, between Träskö Storöfjärden and Ingmarsö, and not far from Finnhamn, you will find Gistholmen. Pack your bags, forget all the musts, and prepare for a break. Your holiday starts at Strömkajen.

At Gistholmen there are 21 cottages: the large cottages, the small cottages, and the Vaktmästarstugan (the caretaker’s cottage). All cottages have unique views. One is located on a rock, another near the meadow. One is located in the forest, one by the archipelago jetty. If you have your favourite cottage, which makes you feel more at home, you are free to book it, subject to availability. We guarantee that all cottages have their own charm!


There are 18 large cottages on the island. They are of 25m² each, and have room for four persons. In these there is one divisible 160-bed, one sofa bed for two persons, and one small kitchen with hobs, micro and fridge. Here is also a private toilet and shower, together with a veranda where you can have your morning coffee.
