Cottage information

By Svartsö northern beak, between Träskö Storöfjärden and Ingmarsö, and not far from Finnhamn, you will find Gistholmen. Pack your bags, forget all the musts, and prepare for a break. Your holiday starts at Strömkajen.

At Gistholmen there are 21 cottages: the large cottages, the small cottages, and the Vaktmästarstugan (the caretaker's cottage). All cottages have unique views. One is located on a rock, another near the meadow. One is located in the forest, one by the archipelago jetty. If you have your favourite cottage, which makes you feel more at home, you are free to book it, subject to availability. We guarantee that all cottages have their own charm!


There are two small cottages on the island. They are 15m² each, and have room for two persons. They are equipped with two berths, one small living room, and a small veranda. These cottages have no private shower or toilet, nor any kitchen equipment – but the main cottage´s facilities are within crawling distance.
