Idyllic Hagelviken is located at the end of the road, completely secluded and embedded in greenery. The 19th century cottage is well preserved with a homely atmosphere such as a fireplace in the kitchen and timber beams in the ceilings. The location of the log house under the oaks provides a cool indoor climate in the summer.
Hagelviken has three rooms with five beds and a spacious kitchen. Wifi, running water, shower, electricity and well equipped kitchen are included.
The rental takes place preferably for a period of two weeks, not on a daily basis or individual weekends. With a discount of SEK 3,800, the price for two weeks is SEK 30,000.
The garden has centuries-old apple trees, rose bushes and lush flowerbeds inviting for summer coffee under the treetops or on the patio overlooking Lake Mälaren. The lawns slope down towards the private jetty which extends 70 meters out into the bay. Here you can undisturbed take a cooling summer dip, sunbathe or why not enjoy the sunset over the island Biskops Arnö.
In the garden there is a trampoline, swings and summer games. A couple of bicycles are available. The rowing boat is also suitable for a day trip for fishing, swimming or exciting explorations. Lake Mälaren's inner archipelago offers beautiful pastures, beach meadows and deciduous forests.
The cottage has a larger kitchen with a cozy corner in front of the traditional Swedish fire place. There is plenty of space for 6 people around the dinner table. The kitchen is well equipped with double sink, fridge and freezer, two induction hobs and kitchen fan. Oven, microwave, toaster, water and coffee maker are included. Kitchen and bathroom were renovated in 2017. The bathroom has a shower, sink and a water-free toilet.
The bedrooms consist of master bedroom, childrens bed room and sleeping loft. The blackout curtains are excellent and the beds are of high quality. The traditional cottage requires care and therefore we ask guests to clean up after themselves. Check-in and check-out takes place on Sundays.
