House with garden in beautiful Tällberg

Rent our house in the middle of scenic Tällberg, probably the most beautiful place in the historical landscape of Swedish Dalecarlia! Sea glimpse over Siljan and the mountains. (Lake Siljan and its beautiful surroundings are the result of a meteorite impact which happened 360 million years ago.) Walking distance to the beach, the train station and a grocery store. Large garden where the children can play. Garden furniture and three large birch trees.

Bright, rural interior throughout the house. Downstairs, there is an open floor plan between the large, fully equipped kitchen and the living room, which has a functioning fireplace, and two extra beds in a pull-out couch. Guest toilet.

Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, which can easily be put together into a double bed if desired. One of the bedrooms has a fireplace, the other overlooks Siljan. In addition to these rooms, there is a study with a large desk with seats on both sides, well suited for children's crafts or for office work. From one place at the desk, there is a lake view through the window. Bathroom with toilet and bathtub with shower.

In the barn there is a spacious summer room with two more beds during the summer season.

The house itself has a special local history, as it was once a renowned weaving shop, that attracted long-distance visitors with its fine crafts.

Tällberg is a classic resort town at Siljan, tourists come here all year round to experience the views and the genuine village environment. There are plenty of things to do with several spa hotels, restaurants, shops and a marketplace with specialized traditional artisanal handicraft. Walking distance to a farm with a store that sell their own food and other ecological products.

There is a golf course, a ski run and walking trails in a vast nature reserve rich with blueberries. Skiers will get a nice base in beautiful Tällberg with proximity to the popular Granberget, Rättviksbacken in Rättvik, and Käringberget in Leksand. At the beach there is a comfortable and spacious bathing jetty, as well as the opportunity to rent canoes, rowing or pedal boats in the kiosk which also has food service. Near the beach there is also a mini golf course. A short drive or bus trip from the house there is Leksands Sommarland. There is also Dalhalla, which arranges concerts in a wide range of genres and artists, from renowned European opera houses to Iggy Pop and Lauryn Hill.

The tenant is responsible for final cleaning. Sheets are available for rent for SEK 150 / set.
