On the southern part of Resarö, in Ytterby, overlooking Kodjupet, lies this beautiful old fisherman's house "Villa Erikslund" from 1909. From the sunny terrace, you have a view of a large lush garden and vibrant archipelago traffic. From the breakfast table, you are just a few steps away from the pool, or you can put on your bathrobe and walk down the gravel path to the swimming jetty. The property features a playhouse, swing set, football goal, and trampoline for playful children. Further down the garden, you'll find a newly renovated (2024) dock with a large deck and a furnished boathouse, perfect for meals and evenings with board games. Here, you'll also find fishing rods and life jackets for a trip with Maja, our trusty little rowboat. Next to the boathouse is the jetty area with an outdoor kitchen, grill, outdoor furniture, and a hammock. Adjacent to the jetty is a marina that contributes to an active boating life. Through a hole in the hedge, you can access the gravel path leading to one of the island's many swimming jetties, ideal for jumping and diving, which unfortunately is not possible at our own jetty due to shallow water (1m deep with a muddy bottom).
On the lower floor of the house's newly built section, you'll find a welcoming hall with two large wardrobes and a bathroom with a shower, washing machine, and dryer. From the kitchen's dining area, double doors lead out to the terrace where you'll find outdoor furniture, a grill, and the pool. The kitchen/dining area also features an open fireplace and an old wood stove. The living room has a large comfortable corner sofa and a piano. The ground floor also offers a lovely glass veranda with wicker furniture and double doors leading out to the terrace and garden.
A creaky staircase leads up to the house's upper floor, where a family room with a desk and sofa connects the house's three bedrooms. Two of these offer wonderful sea views. Bedroom 1 has a 160cm bed, bedroom 2 has a 90cm bed with the possibility of an extra bed/mattress, and bedroom 3 has a 120cm bed. A travel cot and high chair are available if needed. The upstairs bathroom includes both a shower and a bathtub.
No smoking indoors. No pets allowed. The house is rented only on a weekly basis.
