Luxurious mountain cabin

Our cabin is situated next to Idre Mountain Golf Club, nearby Idre village and its ski resorts. It is facing south and west with a large sunny veranda with a magnificent view of the mountains in Norway. By car you can reach Idre village in a few minutes, Idre Himmelfjäll ski resort in 10 minutes and Idre Fjäll ski resort in 15 minutes.

The house is a semi-detached house of 138 square meters (each) in an open plan with large social areas. In total there are 10 beds in 4 bedrooms, and 2 additional beds in the large sofabed on the upper level. The dining table easily seats 10 people. The living room has two sofas right in front of the large, stone covered fireplace. With a ceiling height of 6 meters this is the perfect place to relax after an active day on the mountain. If you rather spend the evening watching a movie, just move upstairs to the large sofa and the 65” flat screen TV.

There are two bathrooms with showers. The larger bathroom on the ground floor also has a sauna. The laundry room is fully equipped with a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a drying cabinet, as well as space for all your outdoor clothing. There is a 15 square meter large garage, suitable for bikes, golf carts, skis, or even a snowmobile if you rent one or bring your own.

• One bedroom on the upper floor with two single beds, 105cm and 90cm
• Second bedroom on the upper floor with one single bed (90cm) and a family bunk bed (80/120cm).
• Fully equipped kitchen with induction cooktop, full size oven, microwave oven, dish washer, waffle iron, toaster, coffee machine and a Nespresso Vertuo pod machine.
• Living room with fireplace, two sofas and a coffee table. Several board games and jigsaw puzzles.
• The dining table comfortably seats 10 adults.
• Living room up stairs has a large corner sofa (with 2 beds) and a 65” TV. There is also a mini table tennis table.
• Two bathrooms with showers and heated towel rails. Both showers have natural stone covered walls and slate flooring.
• Sauna.
• Laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, drying cabinet and lots of storage area.
• Slate flooring in the entrance hall
• Large outdoor storage (15m2) for bikes, golf carts, skis or even snowmobile
• Fast internet and Wi-Fi via fiber
• Sunny veranda facing south and west with lounge furniture and a charcoal grill

In Idre village there are several grocery stores (ICA and COOP), Systembolaget (liquor store) sporting goods stores with ski rentals and several restaurants.

In the summer, Idre offers the mountains' most vibrant summer resort, with a wide range of activities, including mountain biking , golf at Idre Fjäll Golf Course, padel courts are available indoor as well as outdoor, hiking, canoeing, rafting, horseback riding, beaver safari and more.

Grövelsjön Mountain Station and Fulufjället National Park are 40 minutes away with great opportunities for fantastic hiking. A visit to Njupeskär, Sweden's highest waterfall, is a nice excursion.

In the winter time you have access to 3 ski resorts of your choice. Idre Fjäll offers slopes in all directions, a ski stadium and several cross country ski tracks of varying lengths. Idre Himmelfjäll is perfect for families with smaller children with its gentle slopes and cross country ski track. Fjätervålen is a smaller resort offering both prepared slopes and some off piste for the little more adventurous. Or perhaps climb to the top of Städjan for some real backcountry skiing when weather permits.

Swap day is generally on Sundays.
