Cozy cabin by the trails and lake in Harsa

Experience the tranquility and beautiful nature of the cross-country skiing paradise Harsa from our cozy cabin "Ugglebo" (which means "Owl's Nest" in Swedish). Located on a small rise just a stone's throw from the lake and ski trails, this place is perfect for relaxation after a day out in nature.

The cabin, with its 78 square meters, accommodates up to 6 people and offers a spacious living room with a tranquil west-facing view over house tops and the lake, a fireplace, TV, a comfortable sofa, and two armchairs. The modern kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, and oven. The bathroom is fresh with a shower, washing machine, sink, and sauna.

The large bedroom features a comfortable continental bed at 190 cm, with the option to fold out two extra beds. There is ample storage space for clothes. The medium-sized bedroom has a sofa bed at 80 cm, as well as a wardrobe and dressers. The smallest bedroom offers a cozy folding bed at 90 cm and a dresser. All beds are equipped with warm duvets, and plenty of pillows and blankets are available.

The covered southwest-facing porch is perfect for enjoying the evening sun and watching sunsets, as well as for grilling during the summer. In the spacious natural garden, you can pick lingonberries and blueberries for breakfast. A woodshed is available for storing larger equipment.

During the summer, you can enjoy swimming at the nearby beach, just 200 meters from the cabin. Guests are also welcome to use the rowboat. Fishing permits can be purchased at Harsagården. Explore the trails and the Hälsingeleden for running, hiking, and mushroom and berry picking. Within walking distance, there is Harsagården with boat and canoe rental, a restaurant, and close by, a unique living mountain pasture with freely grazing mountain cows and a café. The cows can also roam the yard when they are out grazing! Even closer, there is a historical mountain pasture with a museum.

Only 18 km away lies Järvsö with year-round activities such as Järvsöbacken, the Mountain Bike Park, Vildriket, Kristofersgården, and Stenegård, just to name a few. There is also an ICA Supermarket and several restaurants and cafes.

From Stockholm, it takes 3.5 hours to reach Harsa. From RV 83, it's about 10 km towards Harsa, then another 10 km. Turn south on Grönvallsvägen towards Fluren. Datavägen is the second road to the left. Although it's easiest to reach the cabin by car, you can also take public transportation from Stockholm to Järvsö station and then pre-book a car transport with X-trafik.
