Charming red Swedish house in the forest

Hello! My little red little house is in the Swedish forests of Halland. So if you love peace and close to nature, this is the right place for you. Not far from the sea and Halland's capital, Halmstad, lies the small village in the middle of the forests.
Small lakes, forests, a large river, nature reserves with hiking trails can be found in the area. Nature lovers will get a lot for their money.

The accommodation
The house was lovingly completed by me in the winter of 2022 and has 1 bedroom (loft), a well-equipped kitchen, a shower room and a large living room.
Perfect for solo travellers, couples and couples with max 1-2 children or girlfriend holidays :-)

The house can be booked with a maximum of 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children.

The garden borders my garden so it is not a secluded location. However, screened off by a high hedge. Everyone has their own privacy. The house is elevated and surrounded by tall trees, so no one can look into the windows. The property has approx. 1500 square meters and is a natural property.

The house is on a very small road in the forest and is second to last on the road, there is hardly any traffic. An estimated 4 cars pass each day. But it always depends on the season.

Dogs and cats are welcome!

There is a beautiful wood-burning stove in the house for the right atmosphere in winter. WiFi is of course available.
Bed linen and towels are provided - but you are also welcome to bring your favorite bed linen ;-)
There are 2 bicycles that you can use to explore the area.

I take care of the final cleaning, you don't have to worry about the cleaning. Leave the house in "normal" condition.
Access for guests
You have access to the entire house and of course the garden.
Other important information
A vehicle must be available. The house cannot be reached by public transport.


This is where you will be

Oskarström, Halland, Sweden
The nearest shops are in Oskarström and Torup, about 15 minutes away. A further 15 minutes further and you are in the capital Halmstad.
If you love the sea, it is about a 35-minute drive and you are in the nature reserve with a natural beach or in Tylösand with various cafes and restaurants and a wide sandy beach.

You have many opportunities to spend your free time there. Canoe on the wide Nissan River, hike in the forest or just relax in the garden.
The street next to the house has little traffic, making it ideal for children and pets.
A small circular path leads from the house through the adjacent forest in 45 minutes. So if you want to jog or ride a bike (2 bikes are available), you can slow down here. Canes are available.
The perfect place to pick mushrooms in autumn.
You can fish, rent a boat and swim in lakes everywhere.
In the summer, you can set up a large table with chairs in the garden and just relax or have a barbecue (barbecue available). The property covers approximately 1,500 square meters.
On the way around the accommodation
Gothenburg and Helsingborg are very easy to reach via the motorway. There are trains in Halmstad and also in Oskarström and from there you can go into town. You should not drive to Gothenburg as there are many construction sites. You can get there in just under an hour by train from Halmstad.
