Modern house on the island Knarrholmen, Gothenburg

Welcome to our modern house with a fantastic location and sea view. The house is situated by the sea with a scenic environment of cliffs and greenery, with beaches and a diving tower. The location is perfect for those who want to combine archipelago life in the southern Gothenburg archipelago with city life, events, and activities. Here you can relax by fishing from the cliffs or watching the boats sail by.

You can reach the car-free island by ferry 284 from Saltholmens Brygga, which takes about 15 minutes. From Saltholmen to central Gothenburg, it takes about 35 minutes by tram 11 or bus 114. More information about the trips can be found on . Parking is available around the ferry terminal and towards Långedrag.

The island has one of the archipelago's best restaurants, Restaurang Knarrholmen, offering good food and sometimes events and theme evenings. There are no shops on the island; the nearest grocery store is along the tram line about 5 minutes from Saltholmen. Here you will find an outdoor padel court that can be booked via MATCHi for a fee, with rackets and balls available to borrow in the house. There is an outdoor gym, and you can run around the island. A SUP board is available in the house. There are several swimming spots and beaches on the island, including a diving tower, as well as a football field with goals and a playground in the middle of the island.

Around the house, there are large decks facing all directions, providing sun exposure from morning to evening, so there is a place for sun, shade, and shelter. There is a gas grill, dining area, lounge, sunbed, and a storytelling bench for the evening sun. We also have a shower with hot water heated by the sun. For hot days, there is a cooling tub for drinks.

The house has two bedrooms and is suitable for a maximum of six people. Master bedroom with double bed 180 cm, guest room with two extra-long single beds 90cm, and two single beds 90 cm in the loft.

Large combined kitchen/dining/living room with large glass windows facing the sea and a staircase up to the loft. There is a small 22” TV with analog channels and a radio. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, stove, oven, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, coffee machine, and kettle, as well as a sparkling water machine and ice maker. The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet, towel warmer, washing machine, and dryer. There is a drying rack for hanging clothes.
