Beautifully renovated barn. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. Fully equipped bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The barn has two floors with open spaces. On the ground floor, there is a large dining table, a heat pump, and a wood-burning stove.
Upstairs, you’ll find a TV corner with two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed measuring 140x190. There is also a brand new bed measuring 180x200 and another wood-burning stove. Additionally, there is space to hang clothes, a small home gym, and plenty of books if you enjoy reading!
The rental of the barn also includes full access to a glass house, perfect for lazy summer (or rainy) days or dinner parties. It comes with a large dining table that seats up to 10 people, two daybeds, and an incredible view!
There is another house on the property that may be occupied by us at the same time, but it is separate, and you will not share anything except the parking area.
In addition to the barn, glass house, and parking area, you are of course welcome to use all other areas on the property. The rental also includes a few bikes (they might need some air first) if you want to cycle to the beach (about 15 minutes away).
Some renovations and changes have been made to the house since the photos were taken. These are:
The stone paving outside the barn has been extended (even better for breakfast in the sun)
The barn has been renovated and is no longer red, but instead has beautiful Gotland pine that is turning gray
The glass house has been rearranged but for the better, if you ask us ;)
Please note that there is a water shortage on Gotland, and we have our own well. We therefore kindly ask our guests to be as water-conscious as we are, which means taking short showers (there are plenty of swimming spots), not letting the tap run unnecessarily, and fully loading the dishwasher each time. Additionally, Gotland has strict sorting regulations, so we kindly ask you to sort all fractions. There is a compost on the property for food waste and a bin for household waste. Plastic, glass, metal, and paper are to be taken to the recycling station about 10 minutes away by car.
