House in quiet area, lake view & boat, 5 beds

Treat yourself to time for tranquillity and recreation among birdsong and greenery. A house in a very quiet and forested area, just 1 hour north of Stockholm, 25 minutes south of Norrtälje. Only 200 meters from a lake, this house is in a secluded location with a lake view, surrounded by nature. Every window offers views of the surrounding nature, which is a work of art in itself. The terrace is an extension of the living room, with large sliding doors that let in a lot of light and offer a view of the lake. On the terrace, you can relax, sunbathe, or socialize on the outdoor sofa, barbecue, or dine at the outdoor dining area – which is under a roof. From the terrace, steps lead down to the natural garden where there is also a platform for hanging out.

The house has three bedrooms: one room with a proper double bed and large wardrobes, a smaller room with a bunk bed, and a separate room with a lake view and a 120 cm bed. A total of five beds. Bathroom with sink, shower, washing machine, and incineration toilet.

Weber charcoal barbeque with an electric lighter, a pellet-fired pizza oven, and a parasol are available on the terrace.
Carport for the car. Two older bicycles, stand-up paddle (SUP), rowboat, and fishing gear are available for use.

The house is optimal for a family of four, but five people are allowed only if they are adults with children.

Electricity, water, and wifi (fiber) are included in the rent. If an electric car is to be charged, that’ll be charged as extra.

Towels and sheets can be obtained for a fee of 100 SEK per person. Cleaning after the stay can be done by yourself, or you can pay 1000 SEK. Dogs are allowed, but not cats (due to allergies).

Smoking is not allowed.

The owners spend a lot of time in the house, which is why it is cozy and homely.

Basic supplies like spices, flour, and dish and laundry detergent are always available. As well as a dish brush and cloth, and all kitchen and cleaning tools, iron, and ironing board.

Directly below the house, by Länna kyrksjö, there is a bathing jetty and a bathing raft. The water temperature in the summer often reaches 22 – 23 degrees after a few days of sunshine. Within a 10-minute walk, there is a slightly larger and more child-friendly bathing area with a sandy beach. The rowboat is at another jetty 300 meters from the house.

The area is surrounded by forest and nature, with horse and cow pastures a bit further away. There are countless gravel roads and trails for long walks, running, or cycling/mountain biking. A nature reserve is a 5-minute walk from the house. Roslagsleden passes 5 minutes from the house by car.

Since nature is so close, it is common to see deer, hares, foxes, sometimes moose, and even sea eagles and ospreys.

The nearest grocery store (Ica) is in Bergshamra, 6 km away. By car, it is about 25 minutes to Norrtälje where there are many restaurants, as well as a bigger supermarket, liquor store, pharmacy, and hospital. It is about 50 minutes to Vaxholm, about 60 minutes to Stockholm, about 60 minutes to Arlanda, about 70 minutes to Uppsala, and about 20 minutes to Kapellskär with boat traffic to Mariehamn in Åland. Penningby Castle is 15 minutes away, Furusund 20 minutes with a good restaurant and café.

BOOKING: To book, send an inquiry with your desired dates. If you want more photos or have any other questions, send an email. From June to mid-September, the cabin is rented weekly with Saturday as the changeover day. If you rent several weeks in a row, you get a discount of 1000 SEK/week from the second week.
We use a deposit upon arrival, which is refunded a few days after the rental period if the accommodation/surroundings are cleaned, inspected, and in the same condition as when you arrived. In case of unsatisfactory cleaning or damage, the cost will be deducted from the deposit corresponding to the time it takes to restore the cabin/surroundings to acceptable condition.

Payment: The rent of 11,000 SEK is paid by card via a booking offer. The entire amount is always paid at the same time, no later than 30 days before arrival or upon booking/agreement if the rental period is closer than 30 days. If the rental cost is not paid on time as agreed, the booking fee and the booking are forfeited, and the cabin is offered to others. CANCELLATION
Cancellation is possible without charge no later than 23:59 fourteen (14) days before the agreed arrival date, and with a charge of fifty (50) percent of the agreed rental amount if the cancellation is made no later than 23:59 seven (7) days before the agreed arrival date.
Cancellation is made via the brokerage service, and we ask you as a user to note that all times are local time in Sweden as the rental property is located there. Bad weather is not a valid reason for cancellation.

CHECK-IN SATURDAY AFTERNOON The arrival time is determined in advance for each occasion. No flexible arrival time is applied out of respect for each other's time. Check-in SATURDAY afternoon at the agreed time between 15.00 - 18.00.

CHECK-OUT by Saturday morning before 12.00.
