Discover our charming summer house, a historic stonemason's residence from 1938, high and tranquilly located with a lovely view of the Åbyfjord. The house is idyllically located in a small old stonemason's village. Directly behind the house, the path leads down to a quiet, child-friendly bathing bay and sun-warmed rocks. Only 10 minutes' drive from the popular coastal resorts of Smögen, Hunnebostrand and Kungshamn. A perfect combination of peace and comfort with proximity to both nature and entertainment is offered here.

Interior
The house has a genuine and homely atmosphere with four spacious bedrooms that can accommodate up to eight people. A pull-out sofa can be found in the upper hall for 1-2 guests on a single night. Each room is tastefully decorated to preserve the cottage's original charm. Much of the old furniture has remained since the house was built and the genuine Bohuslän feel is well preserved. The kitchen and living room have been carefully renovated in the original style with a fireplace that keeps you warm on spring or autumn evenings. Good and comfortable beds. The old summer kitchen is today a charming new guest room. Baby gates are available at the top and bottom of the stairs.

Exterior
Large lawn invites to play and there is a fence around the entire plot. Here you can enjoy our apples and berries from the old fruit trees or relax in the shade on a hot summer day after a day at the beach. The high location gives a beautiful view of the sparkling Åbyfjord. Here you can experience total silence and a gigantic starry sky on dark late summer nights. Down by the fjord there is a small kayak to discover the fjord.

Price per week to 16700 SEK

Low season SEK 11,100/week (wk 2-12; 45-49)
Mid-season SEK 13,300/week (wk 17-24; 34-42)
High season SEK 16,700/week (wk 1; 13-16; 25-33; 43-44; 50-52)

Change day is Sundays for weekly rentals. The possibility of a long weekend is available by agreement, but not during the high season in summer, when we only rent out whole weeks. Please check with us for an indivual agreement.

The booking is binding. Payment is arranged via Stugknuten. A deposit of SEK 2,000 is added, which is refunded after a well-executed cleaning. As a guest, you are responsible for final cleaning. At your request, this can be arranged via a cleaning company if we know this well in advance.

Please bring bed sheets and towels yourself.

Cooking facilities – Well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, stove (4 plates), 2 baking ovens, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, Nespresso maker, toaster, waffle iron, stick blender, salt & pepper mill. A basic set of spices, salt, sugar, flour, semolina, etc. is available and you are welcome to use this. Refill if something runs out.

Sauna – Smögen Dyk has a jetty with outdoor spa overlooking the archipelago and Hållö lighthouse. Tumlaren has a sauna with a sea view and the possibility of sea diving and winter bathing. At Smögen Hafvsbad you can book a day spa.

Bicycle rental – Hike & Bike starts from four starting points: "Hike & Bike-Points" - Nordens Ark, Tumlaren, Hunnebostrands Vandrarhem and Bohus-Malmöns Pensionat. There you can rent a bike, have coffee and get tips on suitable bike routes or hiking tours and other excursion tips
Boat rental – Boat rentals are available in Smögen or Hunnebostrand
Canoe rental – Our Canadian is by the beach and can be borrowed for free. Canoe or kayak can be rented in Hunnebostrand or Smögen.
Diving – Smögen, Lysekil or Väderöarna
Fishing – Fishing along the entire fjord. Deep sea fishing from Smögen harbour. Don't miss the sea trout premiere on April 1 or the lobster premiere on the last Monday in September.
Golf – Many fine golf courses are nearby, some are Uddevalla Golfklubb, Torreby GK, Sotenäs GK, Fjällbacka, Strömstad GK, etc.
Hiking trails – Close to Soteleden och Kustleden
Hunting – Stensjö Gård organizes autumn and winter hunts. In the beautiful Bohuslänsk fjord environment, they offer buck hunting for roebuck, drive hunting for roe deer, range and range hunting for ducks and rough shooting for pheasants. www.stensjogard.com

Directly behind the house, the path leads down to a shallow child-friendly smaller sandy beach where you are often almost alone and where the dog can come along. There are also rocks for sunbathing or shelter. There are fine bathing spots at Bohus-Malmön and Hållö, Smögen or Kungshamn, as well as jumping towers in Hunnebostrand.
Riding – In Kungshamn and Hunnebostrand. Tour riding. Sotenäs Fältridklubb gives riding lessons.
Tennis – Good tennis courts at Hunnebostrand Tennis Club, Sotenäs Sports Hall and Smögen Tennis Hall.
