A warm welcome to our house!
It is said that the farm in Mellanhammar was built in 1844. It has served as a courthouse, a captain’s house, and the residence of the county sheriff, and now we have the great pleasure of continuing to bring life to this gem in the High Coast. With its timber frame, seven fireplaces, creaking wooden floors, fantastic windows, and views of the river and mountains, the atmosphere is nothing short of delightful. We hope you feel the same as we do.
The house is a timber house with 9 rooms, of which 5 are bedrooms, 2 are living rooms, 1 is a toilet, and there is a large country kitchen. With 7 fireplaces, two of which are usable, the rustic and charming feel is very present, and the great advantage is the proximity to the unique nature and culture of the High Coast.
On the farm, there is a patio with views of the mountains and river and plenty of space for many. Next to the patio, there is a grill and serving area.
For those who want to be active, there is a trampoline, an airtrack, a badminton net, and a football field. The proximity to hiking, swimming, and services such as grocery stores, train connections, and the airport makes accessibility for guests and travelers optimal despite the rural location.
