Cottage close to lake, in Roslagen, Rånäs Uppland

Nice little cabin with a guest cabin in Roslagen, about 8 miles north of Stockholm. The nearest town is Rimbo two miles south-southeast, where there are grocery stores, cafés, system companies, etc.

2 bedrooms, one in the main cabin, one in the guest cabin. The double bed in the large cabin can be made into single beds. Sofa bed in guest cabin for 2 people. The accommodation is suitable for two adults, alternatively with older children or guests, who can stay in the guest cottage.

The cottage is close to Ubbylångsjön, and a small swimming area with jetty (150 m) which is reached by a path through a field. A little further away (1 km) there is a small child-friendly beach.

In the garden, we try to make room for biodiversity, and there is basically always something blooming. Depending on the season, there may also be some strawberries in the strawberry land, mint for tea or drink, hummingbirds, or frogs walking to or from the lake.

We have two cats, so there are some claw marks on the couch, but in return pets are welcome.

Washing machine available. 2 bikes of an older model, as well as a small sailboat (see picture!) are available to borrow.

Roslagen is an old cultural settlement with many interesting historical places to vist, the cradle of Svea kingdom/Sweden, among other things. is supposed to have been located here,
The region is also filled with many other things such as the Stockholm archipelago and small picturesque towns such as Norrtälje, Grisslehamn and Östhammar which also have all the necessary services in the form of restaurants and shopping.
