Artist's studio from the turn of the century, close to the sea

Only 100 meters from the sea, with some lake view is this charming house.
The house was built by the artist Nils Tiren at the beginning of the 20th century and functioned as both a studio and a residence. Some original paintings on doors still remain.
The house is undisturbed with a few neighbors and the forest close by.

A rowing boat is included in the rent, the boat mooring is on the main property approx. 200m away, there are plenty of islands in the archipelago nearby for swimming, fishing, picnics, etc.
2 child-friendly bathing areas with sandy beach and bathing jetty are within 1800m from the house.
The woods around the house are filled with berries and mushrooms and for those interested in fishing there is a very popular idyllic fishing cove within 200m.

The studio is approx. 100 square meters and consists on the ground floor of hall, small kitchen, large living room with high ceiling where there is also the dining area, bathroom and a bedroom, upstairs there is a bedroom.
The bedroom downstairs has a double bed 180 cm and in the loft there are two 90 cm beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, Micro, dishwasher fridge/freezer.
The living room has a ceiling height of 4.75 meters, a large window area and a dining table with room for 6-8 people, there is a sofa group in front of a TV, in the room there is also a wood-burning stove.
Exiting directly from the living room you come to a veranda that is furnished with a table and chairs, from here you also have a nice view where the sea is visible between the trees.

Mobile broadband with WIFI and TV for streaming services are available in the cottage.

About 200 meters from the house there is a jetty with the possibility of swimming and fishing.
Bedding/linen set is not included but can be rented for SEK 150/person (set) (pillowcase, duvet cover, undersheet, one large and one small towel).
Tenant is responsible for cleaning before departure.

15 minutes from the cottage (by car or SL) there are plenty of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, post offices, cinemas and museums in Norrtälje. SL bus stop 250 meters from the cottage.
2 km from the cottage there is Solö jetty with regular ferry traffic (Waxholmsbolaget) for trips to various islands nearby, for example Furusund.

From the cottage, distance by car to: Marholmen (restaurant, spa, playground, swimming beach) 5 min. Solö bath 3 min, Penningby castle 5 min, Bergshamra (ICA store) 8 min, Norrtälje 15 min, Furusund 20 min, Vaxholm 50 min, Stockholm 60 min, Arlanda 55 min, Uppsala 70 min, Kapellskär 20 min.
