Recently renovated holiday home built in 1976, guest house built in 2008 with 48 sqm of space and all amenities on Väddö.

The cottage has three bedrooms with 6 beds, plus an extra bed. One of the bedrooms contains a bunk bed. A high chair and crib are also available. Fully tiled bathroom with shower and WC. Wood-burning stove and TV in the living room. Close to both child-friendly and shallow sandy beaches as well as rocks. Well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove, microwave, as well as dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. Dining area for at least 10 people. The house has a large built-in porch and terrace with a grill and outdoor furniture.

You will stay on Väddö, one of Stockholm's 30,000 beautiful islands. You can explore wonderful spots in the nearby area, such as the Roslagsleden along the Väddö coast, farm shops, fresh fish in the harbor, and cultural events throughout the summer. If you just want to listen to the waves of the sea and smell the fresh sea air and seaweed, you don’t need to leave this little paradise.

A day trip to Stockholm is easy by car, in 1 ½ hours, you will be in the capital, the Venice of the North. You can also park your car in Grisslehamn and take a direct bus to Stockholm. Buy the Stockholm card, and you will get discounted travel and entrance fees.

Grisslehamn offers a nice spa facility (Havsbaden) and ferry traffic to Åland, a lovely day trip on the sea. Don’t forget to buy some freshly caught fish in the harbor if you don’t have your own fishing luck. Free fishing with hand gear. You can also visit Albert Engström’s artist studio and get to know your former neighbor. For tennis enthusiasts, there are two courts and two padel courts in Grisslehamn. Book via Matchi. For golf lovers, there are two golf courses within 14 kilometers (Väddö GK and Hallstavik GK) from Kvarnsand.

The sauna and boat are shared with the owner and must be booked and paid for on-site.
The owner covers electricity from May to September (otherwise 3 SEK/kWh).
No rental to groups.
Optional final cleaning for 1,500 SEK.
Bed linen and towels available for rent for 200 SEK/set.
