Ramsö Ugglebo, Värmdö Panoramic sea view, jetty

Picturesque cottage on a lake plot with panoramic views of Solöfjärden. Access to a private jetty where a dinghy with oars can be borrowed to row over to the nearby beach.

There are also 2 bicycles to borrow. They are parked at the regular boat jetty when you arrive at Ramsö jetty.

The cottage has a small hall with wardrobe, a living room with 2 single beds with comfortable mattresses (dark fabric curtains for the windows are available for this room), TV and reading armchair. Sleeping alcove with a folding bed is next to the kitchen. Dining area in the glass veranda with a fantastic view over the water.
Small kitchen with a woodfired stove, fridge and freezer, stove with oven, microwave, kettle, etc. There is no mains water/sewer in the cottage. Water is taken from outside the house and dishes are done on the veranda.
In a shed next to it there is a modern compost toilet + sink. Shower with hot water in a separate part.

Ramsö pier is closest to the house about 20 minutes walk, here are also the 2 bicycles that belong to the house, which you can borrow during your stay.

Ramsö is a beautiful car-free island about 3 km2 in size with winding gravel roads and a short walking distance. On the island there is a common area with access to boules, football and table tennis.

In Vaxholm you will find a tourist office, small-scale shopping, galleries, summer restaurants, cafes, a local history museum, ice cream parlors and grocery stores. Stroll through the picturesque alleys with cobblestone streets and unique buildings, visit galleries and peek into the boathouses that offer crafts. In the heart of the city there is also a large park with a playground and mini golf. Regular boat connections to many archipelago islands depart from the harbor, so it is easy to make excursions and explore the archipelago by boat. Most boats also dock at Ramsö.

Ramsö is easy to reach. You can get here either by Waxholmsbåt from Grand Hotel in central Stockholm (approx. 1 hour, 20 minutes journey), or by car/bus to Vaxholm and then regular boat to Ramsö (approx. 10 minutes). It is also possible to book a taxi boat from Ramsö to Vaxholm or other places.

Guests clean themselves: cleaning deposit 800 SEK

Linen and towels are brought by guests themselves.

Pets 500 SEK/each/week. After approval by the homeowner.
If necessary, an extra folding bed for children/juniors can be arranged for families of more than 3 people. 1,000 SEK/week.
A dinghy with oars and 2 older bicycles are available for loan.
