House with top-of-the-world view, sauna and pool

Welcome to our Scandinavian cottage in Stockholm archipelago with sauna, pool and a spectacular view over the sea.

The house has charming location on the island "Stora Saxaren" between Grinda and Vaxholm. Transportation by Waxholms boats if you don´t have access to your own boat. Beautiful, calm forrest to hike in, mushrooming and picking berries. Good fishing possibilities directly from our deck.

Located on the highest spot on the island you see the big Finland-ferries pass by and on sunny summerdays the sea is full of drifting sailboats. Yet this place gives you total privacy.

3 bedrooms with a total of 7 beds (2 double beds, 1 bunk bed), + bed sofa in the sauna house. Open constructional plan with kitchen and livingroom, a fireplace, big lawn, pool and terrace in front of the house and another of 80kvm with barbecue. Sauna with relax by water front. Own private deck with buoy and sailboat-depth. Swimming possibilities. Library with books and movies.

Bed linens and towels are available for rent.

Directions:
The Vaxholm ferries leave several times a day from Strömkajen in central Stockholm, or from Vaxholm. See waxholmsbolaget.se
It stops at the island Stora Saxarens general bridge. From there, a walking distance of 10 minutes. Trolley is available.
The nearest shop is located at Linanäs on Ljusterö . (10 minutes by boat)
or in Vaxholm where you can go by Vaxholmsbåt which runs several times a day.
