The timber house: built around 1840, veranda, hallway, large, old-fashioned kitchen with a stunning dining section surrounded by windows, bathroom with shower, WC, washingmachine, bedroom with a double bed (160 cm), living room with a couch that can be used as a bed. Every room has a lakeview in one or more directions! The house has electric heating and complete equipment for cooking your meals: Electric stove and oven, fridge / freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher.

Right outside the house you can pick raspberries, red current, blue berries and lingonberries for your pie. Garden furniture and a grill come with the house as well as a canoe and a rowing boat. On the large property you find an outdoor fireplace next to the lake. Down by the lake there is a great deck with a privat beach and an idyllic grass covered area where you can have your breakfast or your dinner watching the sunset. The area around the house offers sun from early in the morning until late in the evening.
Something really special is the sauna built as a small timber house literally on the lakeside. The large sauna room has two windows and a glass door that offers terrific, panoramic views of lake Yngen. From the sheltered terrace you step right into the refreshing water.

House Yngslandet is situated 15 km southeast of Filipstad (20 min). The next friendly neighbor is 100 m away without harming your experience - the private peninsula that comes with the house is almost 6000 m2. Excellent opportunities for canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking etc. Lots of Blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms can be found just around the corner. Swimming is excellent right in front of the house. The lake also invites you to take exciting canoeing trips. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets or take a boat-trip to one oft the nearby islands. Lake Yngen´s size is 27 squarekilometers. The lake is considered being especially valuable because of its nature, excellent water quality and all kinds of rare fishes. Using the canoe or the rowing boat you can explore remote islands, beaches and hidden bays and great rock formation of all kind. Sitting by the campfire you can listen to the sound of the loon echoing beautiful across the lake.
