"Soltorp" in the edge of a wood.

Soltorp is a smallholder cottage that was renovated and extended in 2010 and
2011.
Wallpaper, paintwork,panelling and features where all chosen to create the
atmosphere of the smallholder lifestyle from the early 1900s.
The kitchen has every convenience as well as a wood stove, the shower/toilet has
underfloor heating. A typical lokal feature is the inbuilt cast iron Bergslags stove in
the living room.
The downstairs bedroom has a double bed, the uppstairs bedroom has two singel
beds and there are also two singel beds on the landing. A child´s bed is available.
The cottage has electric radiators a Electricity is NOT included in the rent during the
low season.
The cottage garden is undulating and there is direct access to the forest behind the
cottage.
The surrounding countryside is mixed forest and farmland. The Arboga river is 5-
800 metres away. You can fish, go boating and swim from our jetty. Bird watchers
will find much of interest, both here and, for example, at Lakes Tysslingen and
Kvismaren, 30 and 45 km away.
Moos, roe deer, wild boar and wolves are found in the locality. For the courageous
we might even organice sleeping out in the "wild"...
If you want to drive a tractor, feed sheep and hens we can also arrange it. Or may
be a guided tour of the surroundings? We can arrange something.
