Summer cottage by the sea

to Österlen and Örnahusen, a picturesque fishing village outside Simrishamn and Skillinge.
Our guesthouse is located 100 meters from the sea front . Wonderful sandy beaches, where you can take a bath, are just a few hundred meters away.
The house is newly restaurated. It`s 40 square and is divided into two bright rooms: a combined living room and a kitchen (two cooking rings, fridge, freezer) with dining area, a bedroom and a bathroom. The décor is Mediterranean with white walls, tiled floor and deep window niches.
The living room has a sofa/couch that, if needed, can be used as a bed for two persons. There´s a TV-set as well. In the separate bedroom there are two beds, clothes storage (wardrobe and a chest of drawers). The bathroom is fresh and bright with a window beside the shower. There is under floor heating and a heated towel rail. If you need a washing machine, there is one you can use in our house. The house is electrically heated by radiators and by air source heat pump. Note: only mobile broadband.
Outdoor, south west of the house, there´s a 15 square patio and a lawn with a beautiful view over the surrounding fields. Not far away, in Skillinge (walking/bicycle distance by the sea) there´s a grocery store. In the fishery store you can also have your lunch. In the evening you can visit a nice restaurant in the little harbor.
Almost anything you can wish can be found in Österlen: Some of the best beaches in Sweden (Borrby strand, Mälarhusen, Sandhammaren), rich bird life (many birdwatchers are attracted to Örnahusen), wonderful walking paths, golf (Stiby, Vik, Tomelilla, Ystad), tennislawn (Skillinge), charming villages, horse riding, gardening, etc. Österlen offers a lot of culture events, such as art exhibitions, concerts and interesting lectures.
The guesthouse is designed for two to three grown up persons (max three, where the sofa bed comes in handy). We wish you a pleasant stay in Örnahusen.
