Bergs locks - near Göta Kanal and the lake Roxen

We start the rental period on Saturdays, ie we rent out Saturday to Saturday during high season June, July and August..

Lake side location by the locks of Berg, 1okm north west of Linköping.
Beautiful turn of the century house next to the locks, Bergs slussar with a view
over the canal steps and Lake Roxen. Only 50 metres to swimming spot with
shallow sandy beach and jetty.

The house has a total of eight rooms (9 + 1 berths) and a kitchen, a total of
160m2, together with two englazed verandahs both of 12m2 each.

Ground floor: hall way, kitchen (new 2010) fully equipped, dining room, living room
with a basic stereo with CD-player, englazed verandah and two bedrooms,
shower room with.

Upper floor: hall way, three bedrooms, living room with forty TV channels and
DVD-player, englazed verandah, shower room with WC together with washing
machine and built-in tumble drier (shower room new 2010).

At Berg there is a supermarket, hairdresser and a number of restaurants, cafes,
adventure miniature golf course, all located along the canal of Göta Kanal. Vreta
Kloster Golf club and Heda Riding club are situated at a comfortable distance a few
kilometres away. Berg offer beautiful surroundings with walking and bicycle paths,
good public communications and a bicycle path to Linköping. At Göta Kanal and
Lake Roxen there are possibilities to go on boat trips.

In Linköping there is a large supply of shopping, Airforce museum and Gamla
Linköping, an open-air museum. It is about 50km to Kolmårdens Zoo and circa
80km to Astrid Lindgrens World about 8km to boat and toy museum by Göta Kanal
and about 40km to Swedens largest inland lake swimming spot - Varamon by Lake
Vättern.

Directions:
From Road E4 outside of Linköping the northern exit (second exit both from north
and south) turn towards Berg/Vreta Kloster/Göta kanal. When arriving in Berg
follow the road to the right over the hill, down over Göta Kanal and before the
supermarket, ICA, turn right down the road Bergsbadsvägen, follow the road
towards the lake as far as it goes, turn right onto Snipvägen last house on your left towards the lake.
