Fårö limestone house in courtyard environment

Our stone house from the 19th century is located in a genuine peaceful Gotland village, situated in a nature reserve with a rich bird life in south east Fårö, by Ryssnäs.
The lambs are grazing outside and the nature is fantastic, 10 minutes’ walk to never-ending pebble beaches with sea stacks, 15km to the withe beaches of Fårö. Gravel roads outside the house with promenades along meadows, Stentun (stone walls) and around Lake Dämba for you who love to go for a longer walk. Nearest supermarket Fårösund circa 5km.
The house: An old stone house with thick limestone walls on two floors. Ground floor: kitchen with dining area for 4 persons, heat source fireplace, one bedroom with two beds, shower/WC all tiled bathroom with heating coils and small window. The house is very bright, and the evening sunshine reach the kitchen through the glazed front door. First floor: living room with sofa, TV, basic supply, large window in southern position together with the second bedroom, also with two beds. Floor with wide floorboards. In total the house has four berths. Private patio with barbeque possibilities. No smoking and/or pets.


Road description:
Travel to Fårösund, take the ferry over to Fårö. At Fårö church turn right at the signpost
"Dämba", travel for another 5km. At the last stone village is where we live.
