The house is located on Rörö Island in Öckerö municipality, in the northern most part of Gothenburg’s archipelago. The island is for the most part a natural reserve area, with a large moor, pebble fields and bare cliffs along large parts of its western side. The vast natural area has unique fauna and open ocean views to the horizon and well suited for walks. There are two color coded hiking trails in the natural reserve. The guest harbor on Rörö Island has good facilities with a large communal grill area, which is particularly popular with families due to the child friendly beaches beside the harbor. On the eastern side of the island there is a communal bathing area and bathing jetty. The island has a well stocked grocery store, café, and resturant all within walking distance.
The house has two floors. The upper floor has three rooms capable of sleeping six and a child’s bed, a little communal area and balcony. The bottom floor has a kitchen, large communal area, hall and toilet with shower. There is also access to a large enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and grill.
