With all modern amenities such as central heating (under floor heating), washer dryer, Sauna, Wi-Fi, TV, Netflix on both floors, stereo with I-pod output, blu-ray player, Warm towel racks in bathrooms, working fireplace.

The house was built in 2005, 200 m2 and consists of 2 floors with a total of 7 bedrooms (sleeps 14 persons) and large living- areas on booth floors, state of the art kitchen. 82 m2 terrace with Weber charcoal grill, out door dining table seating 14 persons, 5 deck chairs.

No Pets allowed. For small children there is a high chair and cot.

For those of us who are looking for serenity, peace and tranquility away from everyday stress of modern life. Surrounded by nature, large forests, beautiful valleys and mountain lakes for swimming or fishing. There are bike paths, hiking trails and golf courses. Within a short distance you can find Sweden’s highest waterfall. A day trip to Lake Siljan with many attractions is recommended.
Stöten is one of the best ski area in Sälen and Sweden, Ski In/Ski Out 70 meter to the transport lift.

5 bedrooms:
All with twin-beds. Sharing bathroom with shower, warm towel-rack.

Ski in/Ski out:
The skilift, Granis, located 70 m from the house (a good place for children to ski) takes you to the large skisystem in Stöten. Stöten has the longest ski slopes in Sälenfjällen-. If you want to ski in Trysil it takes about 30 minutes by car.

Cross country skiing:
There is a 45 km track for crosscountry skiing in Stöten, 3 km of the track is illuminated plus lot of tracks all over the places.

Children:
At the Soltorget you will find the Vargus Ski Land for children with ski classes for all ages. Restaurantes, barber que area for making your own hot dogs.

Summer activities:
Rent a canoe at the Stöten Camping located 3km from the house

Canoes:
There are two types of canoes one that acoomodates 3 adults and anther that accomodates 2 adults and two children
The canoes are transported to Gördalen on the Norweigian side. A 5 hour rental is about 700 SEK including transportation. If the canoes are transportd to Faksen in Norway the price for a half day excursion is 500 SEK including transportation. These prices may change.

Hiking:
There are trails in both Sweden and Norway. A hiking trail called Kungsleden starts in the ski slope aprox. 1000 metres from the house.

Bicycle excursions:
Montainbike or electric bicycle can be rented from Mountainbike Rörbäclsnäs.
You can also rent bicycles in Tandådalen.

Golf:
Colf court in Sälen, Trysil, Idre,

Bad:
Stöa i Norge Flersjön 3 km från huset.
Swimming: Närsjön 16 km

Fulufjällets National Park:
The tallest waterfall in Sweden. Njupeskär, 1 hour by car.

Lindvallen 37 km
Downhill biking, Fitness Center, Bowling, indoor pool for swimming, health Spa.
golf, etc etc.

Directions:
In the city of Malung, take ”riksväg 71” towards Sälen.
Just before the village of Sälen, turn left in the round about direction ”Sälenfjällen”.
Follow the signs toward ”Stöten and Hamar”.
After 25 km turn right at the sign ”Stöten 13 km”.
In the round about, take first road to the right. ”Stötenvägen 1,6 km”.
At the next round about take 3rd exit to Kronoparksvägen and a skitunel. After 1,1 km turn right at ”Granbyn”. Granbyn 9 is house no 5 on the left side.

Flights to Scandinavian Montain Airport (See destinations)
From Stockholm, Ängelholm, Malmö, Copenhagen, Aalborg, Aarhus, Luxemburg, Groningen (NL), London, with BRA, SAS, Alsieexpress, BBI or Luxair.
Transport bus pick up at the airport and drives to Stöten and on with a smaller bus to Granbyn 9.
Flight time approx 1 to 11/2 hour in Scandinavia. Distance from the airport to Granbyn 9 is 20 km.
