Gotland, nice countryside holiday accommodation

Nice summer accomodation for 4 persons situated near grocery store, country side restaurants, beaches, nature, 20 minutes north of Visby.

The accommodation has 4 comfortable beds on a sleeping loft. Nice kitchen (from 2020) with hot air owen, induction hob, microwave and a Moccamaster. In 2021 an air conditioner was installed to make it more pleasant when it´s hot outside.

Bathroom with shower.

Patio with outdoor furniture and charcoal grill (Weber). Living room area with a sofa group and a fire stove for mood boosting for those few rainy days.

Tv and wi-fi.

We have bicycles available if one would like to cycle around in the nice area.

Do you have an electric car? In 2023 a charger was installed. Charge for 5 SEK per KWH.

Travelling with children? There is a baby gate on top of the stairs down from the loft. High chairs and cots are also available. Just let us know and we will make sure everything is there upon your arrival.

Stenkyrka is located 24 km north from Visby on the west coast of Gotland. Along the way you find several popular tourist spots like Krusmyntagården and the Lummelunda caves.

In Stenkyrka, at a walking distance for the accomodation, you will find a well sorted grocery store (Tempo Stenkyrka), a nice restaurant (Restaurang Mejeriet), a creperie (Ett litet Creperie) and a zoo (!) (Stenkyrka Djurpark) with camels, a zebra and several other types of animals.

Only 4 km away is Lickershamn. A marina with a small beach, another restaurant, shop with smoked fish and ice cream plus wonderful scenic walking paths along the coastline. Here you also find the biggest lime stone structure (rauk) on Gotland, Jungfrun.

Another 5 km north you will find the scenic Ireviken with a longer beach. At Ire farm (Ire gård) you will be able to buy lambskin, have a coffee or play padel. One day per week during the peak of summer they serve a grilled lamb buffe. Book it well in advance since it can be fully booked.

From Stenkyrka is it also easy to travel further north on Gotland and Fårö, where the famous Swedish director, Ingmar Bergman, lived.

We live ourselves on the farm and are glad to help with tips and ideas on where to go and visit, eat and/or go for a swim. There are a lot to see on Gotland during the summer and every year there is something new. We will gladly help you find the good spots.
